The National Association of Neonatal Therapists Announces Upcoming 2017 NANT Virtual Summit

Online event entitled Seven Core Measures of Neuroprotective Family-Centered Developmental Care will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 5

CINCINNATI, November 28, 2017 (Newswire) -The National Association of Neonatal Therapists (NANT) will be hosting a live, 90-minute Virtual Summit this Tuesday, Dec. 5 from 1 p.m. EST to 2:30 p.m. EST in webinar format.

The special guest presenter will be Raylene M. Phillips, MD, MA, FAAP, FABM, IBCLC. Her primary areas of interest are mother-infant attachment, breastfeeding education and support, and neuroprotective family-centered developmental care of premature infants in the NICU.

Dr. Phillips is all about supporting strong, healthy bonds between infants and parents. She will demonstrate how crucial that bond is to an infant's development of physical, neurological and psycho-emotional health and well-being.

In this webinar, Dr. Phillips will describe evidence-based, clinical strategies for parents and NICU staff to provide neuroprotective care for preterm infants in the NICU as well as how preterm brain development can be altered by the NICU environment.
