The Montcalm Introduced Their Hotel App Version 1.3
Montcalm Luxury Hotels has announced a new version of the Montcalm App. Version 1.3 promises to enhance user experience with several improvements to the user interface and has also fixed several bugs present in earlier versions of the app. Below is a detailed outline of the changes which have been made to the Montcalm App in Version 1.3.
London, January 27, 2016 (Newswire.com) - The Montcalm App retains all its great features which simplify and enhance the user experience for Montcalm customers. The app allows customers to browse photos, information, maps and amenities to ensure that they pick the best Montcalm property and room or suite type to match their needs. Then, they can view, manage or edit their reservation right up until check-in time, at which point the process is made easier still by in-app check-in which bypasses the reception desk. Once checked in, customers are kept up to date with the latest offers and deals from Montcalm via push notifications, and can browse lists of hotels, restaurants and amenities such as gyms and spas in order to figure out how to make the best of their stay.
Changes to the User Interface in Verson 1.3:
When the user searches for a hotel from the home page, it is represented in card view in a hotel list.
Card view is also used to represent options in a:
Rooms & Suites list.
Padding has been applied to the room name in the Rooms & Suites list.
When a user selects a hotel in the Rooms & Suites list, it is now represented in card view.
Restaurants & Bars list.
Special Offers list.
Packages list.
Meetings & Events list.
‘Contact Us’ list.
Gallery list.
Enhancement list.
Users now use the calendar to select their date of birth in the Registration page and the Personal Info page.
Terms& Conditions have been added to the Registration page.
In the Personal Info page, the Montcalm Club checkbox is now hidden if the user is signed in.
Checking and unchecking this box shows and hides the Montcalm Club membership terms and conditions.
Montcalm Club Membership terms and conditions have been added to the Personal Info page.
In Modify Booking, when a room is not cancellable, the Cancel Reservation button will now be hidden.
Images in the Hotel Details page now take longer to change.
The date format in the Modify Booking page has been adjusted.
Bug Fixes in Version 1.3:
In previous versions, when the user viewed their reservation details the app didn’t show the total number of rooms in the selected package. This has now been fixed.
You can now check the card details are valid in the Card Details page.
