The Laugh Exchange is the new floating stand-up comedy show in Lower Manhattan.
New York, NY April 20, 2011 -- The Laugh Exchange is the new floating stand-up comedy show around Lower Manhattan. Each show will feature four to five familiar comedians and will be held at a Lower Manhattan venue.
Comedians from the Last Comic Standing, Comedy Central, Caroline's Comedy Club and HBO Comedy Festival will be taking the stage and throwing down the jokes. MC MAGGIE CHAMPAGNE will keep the show rolling.
The Laugh Exchange was the brainchild of longtime friends Executive Producer DONN GOBIN and Actress/Comedian MAGGIE CHAMPAGNE. The pair met the first day of college at Pace University and continued to be close friends over the years.
"Thousands of new residents have moved into the area so the demand for entertainment options are undeniable. The Laugh Exchange stand-up comedy series is the first step in bringing more night entertainment to Lower Manhattan," said DONN GOBIN. "Lower Manhattan has endured a lot over the last 10 years and it's important that we all remember to take time to laugh," said MAGGIE CHAMPAGNE.
The Laugh Exchange's first show is on May 5, 2011 at Uncle Mike's bar located at 57 Murray Street between Church Street and West Broadway. The second show is also at Uncle Mike's on May 19, 2011. Not other dates have been released to the public as of yet. The cost is $10 at the door and there will drink specials all night long.
