The Inline Columns DL12 and DL17 from LINAK Take You Higher, with Sleek Design and More Standard Features Than Ever

LINAK raises the bar on electric height adjustable desk design system by expanding the range of its innovative DESKLINE® inline column family, with the addition of the DL12 and the DL17.

At LINAK, form meets function. The sleek design of the rectangular DL12 and the square DL17 offer new features, developed as part of the DL12 and the DL17 standard products.

The new 3-part inline design of the two columns is pleasing to the eye. The invisible gliding pads and minimum spacing between the column profiles provides a streamlined silhouette. The DL12 and the DL17 are intended for desks without crossbar ensuring optimum freedom of design without compromising on stability. The DL12 and the DL17 offer new attributes - like PIEZO™, LINAK's hardware based anti-collision technology, preventing damage to office furniture and materials.

"A hardware solution is more sensitive and works faster than a typical software solution," says Birgitte Holm-Melin, product manager. ''Plus it is invisible - built directly into the column - meaning there is no extra assembly required. PIEZO saves both time and money for the manufacturer'' The sensor feels for any obstruction when raising or lowering the desk, then halts and reverses to avoid collision, safeguarding investments while providing a longer lifetime to office furniture and equipment. To ensure uniformity the PIEZO sensitivity is tested and approved before leaving the factory.

Additionally, LINAK has taken extra care to ensure that all components used in the DL12 and the DL17 are PVC-free… designed with the environment in mind. LINAK's green focus means that the environmental impact of the final product is constantly improved.

If the manufacturer's office or product programme contains motor housing columns, LNAK also offers an optional motor housing adaptor - to ensure the same mounting and appearance as other columns. This optional feature visually conveys seamless integration between old and new column solutions.

It is easy to combine the DL12 and the DL17 with LINAK's energy-saving control boxes. Simply plug and play to profit from the added benefit called "zero technology" - meaning that in standby mode, the standby energy consumption is only 0.1W per hour.

"This season is shaping up to be an exciting time for LINAK, with new ideas taking form and becoming innovative solutions that change expectations for the working environment," says Bjarke Thomsen, Strategic Business Unit Sales Manager of DESKLINE.
