Alert...bicycle riders who use Chill Breakers will keep their hands protected when riding in cold chilly weather without having to use bulky gloves. This new device is like an instant windshield for the hands of riders and keeps the user’s hands free of chill and possible frostbite. The Chill Breakers is a portable “windshield” apparatus specially designed to be attached to the handlebars of a bicycle. The design intent is to provide cyclists with a simple yet effective means of breaking the wind around their hands while riding thus keeping their hands protected from chilling winds while riding in freezing cold weather.
The Chill Breakers are fashioned of durable, clear plastic material and feature a distinct, sharp “C” shape on each side. The shape and material is aerodynamic and accommodates the wind speeds a cyclist encounters. A simple hinge mechanism allows the Chill Breakers to be instantly attached onto the center mount of the handlebars; the unit can be easily adjusted upward or downward, depending upon the configuration of the handlebars, so that the hands are completely covered. A universal product, Chill Breakers are easy to remove and can be used interchangeably on different bikes. Televised test marketing has recently been completed indicating strong consumer interest in the Chill Breakers.
The Patent Pending Chill Breakers were invented by Ronald Fajardo of Floral Park, NY who said, “Protecting the hands from wind chill is important when riding a cycle. Chill Breakers do just that and eliminate the pain/discomfort that can happen while riding in cold weather. Chill Breakers work!”
