The Assistance Fund Adds Three New Members to Board of Directors

Linda Howard, Daniel Klein, and John Rushing Join The Assistance Fund’s Board of Directors

The Assistance Fund (TAF), an independent charitable patient assistance organization that helps patients and families facing high medical out-of-pocket costs, today announced the addition of three new members to its Board of Directors. Linda Howard, Daniel Klein, and John Rushing join TAF’s all-volunteer Board, bringing a wealth of experience in nonprofit management, healthcare, customer service, and compliance. 

Linda Howard has over 35 years of experience in law; compliance; and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). She is the entrepreneurial force behind WithLindaHoward and Alturnative, specialized consultancies driving DEI, ethics, and compliance transformations within organizations. Daniel Klein has over 25 years of C-level executive leadership experience in healthcare and information technology, having most recently served as the President and CEO of the Patient Access Network (PAN) Foundation, a leading independent charitable patient assistance organization. John Rushing joins TAF’s Board with over 25 of years of experience in the contact center solution sector and is also a U.S. Navy veteran, with over 10 years of service.
