A new partnership has been formed between ADVANCE for Imaging & Radiation Oncology, a free informational resource for healthcare professionals in the imaging and radiation oncology field, and AAMD, the American Association of Medical Dosimetrists (AAMD). This partnership will help each organization enhance the resources they offer to medical dosimetry professionals.

While working together, AAMD and ADVANCE will keep medical dosimetrists abreast of cutting-edge advancements and strategies. AAMD will provide insightful articles to ADVANCE for Imaging & Radiation Oncology as part of the alliance. These special editorial features will appear throughout the year on the ADVANCE for Imaging & Radiation Oncology website, as well as in print issues and digital editions whenever possible. If any of the content penned by AAMD is relevant to students or medical dosimetrists who recently graduated, it will also be spotlighted online in the ADVANCE for Imaging & Radiation Oncology Student & New Grad Center.

AAMD will also present an educational webinar hosted by ADVANCE. This online event will be accredited by MDCB and registration will be free for all members of the ADVANCE and AAMD communities. Additionally, members of AAMD will also be able to activate a free subscription to ADVANCE for Imaging & Radiation Oncology so they can access all of the valuable resources ADVANCE offers to medical dosimetrists.

In regards to this partnership, the editor of ADVANCE for Imaging & Radiation Oncology, Judi Biederman, commented, "ADVANCE for Imaging & Radiation Oncology and the American Association of Medical Dosimetrists (AAMD) have many common interests.
