Ho Chi Minh City, 2nd October 2010, TRG International employees participated in the Blood Donation Day organised and held at the Saigon Times Group. The event attracted over 200 blood donors.

"At TRG International, we encourage and support our employees to actively participate and contribute to the well-being of society. I've been donating blood in the UK and Vietnam for 30 years, as its simple, safe, painless and quick, yet the benefits it yields are enormous. We've made donating Blood a standard part of our CSR activity and this is the 3rd time this year", said Rick Yvanovich, CEO of TRG International.

According to Mr. Nguyen Quoc Huy, an intern at TRG International, "This is the first time I've donated blood as I was a little scared at having this big needle stuck into me as I had assumed it would hurt. However, it didn't hurt at all and now I feel great to have done something valuable that can't be put into words. I want to donate blood again and will encourage others to do so, it really is painless and safe."

Mr. Shekhar Bhusannavar, CEO of SelectRightDegree.com, a division of TRG International said "All healthy people should donate blood to save precious human lives. Remember blood cannot be artificially produced yet! Donating blood does not have any bad effects on the donor's health, neither in short nor long term. In fact, it is good for your own health to donate blood regularly. It does not hurt to donate blood. It is as simple/easy as injecting a medicine. Please donate & save lives. Your fellow Vietnamese citizens need it. I have been donating blood regularly (2-3 times/year in India & Vietnam) for the last 15 years and I'm in perfect health."
