The 30th Annual Laurel Main Street Festival Slated For Saturday May 8, 2010

Casey's Crab Company Of Laurel, Maryland Set To Participate For 10th year

- LAUREL, MARYLAND - The Laurel Board of Trade will be holding their 30th Annual Main Steet Festival on Saturday May 8, 2010. The event will be held from 9am to 4pm on Main Street in Laurel's Historic District.

For the 10th straight year, Casey's Crab Company will join the 300 plus vendors that will line up each side of Laurel's Main Street. Casey's will be offering up Crab Cakes from their Laurel retail seafood market located at 3244 Fort Meade Road.

The Festival starts at 9am with an old fashion "Home Town" parade featuring over 100 participants - Color Guards from around the area, Boy Scout and Girl Scout Troops, Sports Groups, Cheer Leading/Pom-Pom Groups, Fire Trucks, Rescue Squads, Police Departments and much more.

The Laurel Board of Trade is a business organization in the City of Laurel, Maryland. Their primary function is to promote business activity, especially for small and medium sized businesses within the Laurel Trade Area. Their mission is to promote and enhance business development and economic growth within the Laurel Trade Area. The Laurel Trade Area includes: Main Street Historic District, North & South Laurel, West Laurel, Maryland City, and generally speaking the "Laurel" mailing area. Their office is located at 342 Main Street and is open Monday - Friday, 10:00am to 3:00pm.
