"Take Bat" Release Unofficial England Ashes Song, "Bring It Home" In Aid Of Help For Heroes

To raise money for Help For Heroes and to support our England Cricket Team playing in The Ashes "down under", the group called "Take Bat" has released a charity single called "Bring It Home". Come On England!

The group "Take Bat" have re-released their summer charity England World Cup song "Bring It Home" as the unofficial England Ashes song for the 2010 / 2011 Ashes Test Series in Australia, raising money for Help for Heroes.

"Take Bat" (formerly known as "Goals Aloud") consist of Nathan Moore - the former singer with Brother Beyond and Worlds Apart - and the two breakfast DJ's from Real Radio in the North West, David Ditchfield and Paul Salt (aka "Ditchy" and "Salty").

Band member, Paul Salt, said "It's great to be releasing "Bring it Home" for the Ashes, especially as we are raising money for such a fantastic cause like Help for Heroes again. We filmed the video at Old Trafford Cricket Ground - the scene of one of the test matches from the victorious Ashes series of 2005. Let's hope the boys can bring home that famous urn!"

"Bring It Home" is available on download, from iTunes, with the artist's profits going to Help for Heroes; the video can be seen on You Tube at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VZxzz9ivpJQ

"Bring It Home" was produced by Danny Schogger of Green Garden Records http://www.greengardenrecords.com/ . It was originally released for the World Cup 2010, in support of England and Help for Heroes. The track plus the original video was made at the famous Parr Street Studios in Liverpool and includes previously injured UK troops and fans of the Real Radio Breakfast show
