Survivor Winner Danni Boatwright To Host Inside Sports: News You Can Almost Trust

Former Inside Sports: News You Can Almost Trust Host Candidate Joumana Kidd Has Had To Pull Out For Scheduling Reasons. Boatwright Will Step In And Fill Coveted Spot.

Producer and Creator Mark McClure made this statement:

"Joumana Kidd will be pulling out as host of Inside Sports: News You Can Almost Trust due to scheduling conflicts. We fully understand and appreciate her position. She's a terrific person, class act and an exceptional talent and we wish her nothing but the best in her future endeavors. In her place we signed Danni Boatwright, winner of Survivor:Guatemala "The Mayan Empire" and host of ESPN2 Fantasyland. Danni's track record and on-camera hosting ability is second to none and we could not be happier to sign such an amazing up and coming talent," McClure added.

The show has been rescheduled to be shot on June 15th in Dallas, Texas and set to air first week of August on Oxygen and VERSUS.

"We originally planned to put together a solid, quality production and get it out there and obtain feedback. But the response we have gotten has been immense, with emails and feedback on how this is a show has never been done, how folks that are both sports fans and non -sports fans are excited to see it, and thus the pressure to take this show to a high level has never been greater. So we have scaled it back to June 15th in order to bring only the best comedic actors, the biggest names for guests and of course give us ample time to promote this show through the roof. Quite honestly, if this show does not get nominated for an Emmy I will be shocked," McClure finished.

Danni Boatwright was recently the host of CelebTV.com, ESPN2 Fantasyland (Fantasy Football) and Survivor:Guatemala winner. Confirmed guests for two of the first three shows are NFL stars Matt Cassel, KC Chiefs QB and former Broncos star and current Washington Skins WR Brandon Marshall.
