Support Children At St. Joseph'S Villa While Entertaining Your Kids

Online toy rental company TOYconomy (www.TOYconomy.com) and St. Joseph's Villa (www.NeverStopBelieving.org) have teamed up to provide support to more than 500 children and their families in the Richmond, VA community. This new charity drive is geared towards providing funds and items for many homeless and at-risk youths in the area and to encourage a better education and lifestyle for them.

TOYconomy is an online toy rental store that first opened its virtual doors online in May 2010, when a local Richmond mother of three knew that something had to be done to reduce toy clutter, save resources, and save money on buying countless number of toys for children. The store has since partnered with St. Joseph's Villa in order to put TOYconomy's rental proceeds to good use by directly benefiting those who need it the most - at-risk children and families.

"We are constantly looking for ways to support good causes, especially for children. This partnership is ideal for TOYconomy and many moms and dads have shown their support for the program," said Founder and President, Shannon McAfee.

TOYconomy will donate 5% off all rental proceeds through March 2011 to St. Joseph's Villa for the last quarter of 2010 and the first quarter of 2011. These donations will begin just in time for the holiday season and later will help support summer programs at the Villa.

"We are delighted to partner with TOYconomy in our efforts to help children. For more than 175 years, St. Joseph's Villa has served the neediest children in our community, and we cannot do this important work without the support of individuals and organizations such as TOYconomy," comments David Huffine, Vice President for Financial Development for St. Joseph's Villa. "We welcome them into the Villa family."

TOYconomy currently has a program that encourages customers to submit a wish list through the website for items they would like to rent for the holiday season. The management at TOYconomy has extended this wish list to include St. Joseph's Villa and is working on a separate program to provide many of these wish list items to the Villa as gifts for Christmas.

"We are confident that we will have great success with this program and we look to the support of all our customers. We hope to extend this program to many more nonprofit organizations in 2011," comments Mrs. McAfee.
