Superclean Redesigns Jake Schepps Website for New Bartok Release

Colorado banjo player releases "An Evening in the Village: the Music of Bela Bartók," a modern tribute to Hungary's great composer.

Superclean Web Services just re-designed Colorado banjo player Jake Schepps' website for his modern tribute to famed Hungarian composer Bela Bartók, titled: "An Evening in the Village: the Music of Bela Bartók."

The new album, recorded in 2010 but in the works for 2 years, is based on Bartók's original field recordings and features 19 compositions reinterpreted for the banjo. The music is available in CD and digital download format at JakeSchepps.com

A total of nine musicians play on the album, but the usual configuration was a quartet. The release has been described as Bartók Meets Bluegrass. Bartók, a master Hungarian classical music composer, had a great interest in folk music so this musical combination really makes sense.

Superclean Web Services re-themed the Jake Schepps website with the new Hungarian/Folk artwork specially created for this project. The new design replaces the old Blue Note-inspired theme created for Schepps in early 2008.

The website is built upon the Drupal content management platform empowering the artist to take control of his website and create content whenever needed.
