SUNHEAT Plans Aggressive National Trade Show Tour
Online, February 18, 2012 (Newswire.com) - An exciting list of national trade shows fill up the spring calendar for Sunheat International. "The Original SUNHEAT line of infrared heaters has grown in popularity and acceptance by consumers and retailers spanning all 50 states over the past several seasons due to their savings, quality and reliability," said Josh Rookstool, Director of Sales. "Our goal at the spring shows is to get The Original SUNHEAT into more independent retailer's stores across the country. We want to really expand the number of dealers who carry SUNHEAT."
In order to reach that goal, Rookstool and his team of representatives will present the Sunheat line of heaters at eight national trade shows. The shows include: The Orgill Spring Market, Brand Source Spring Summit and MEGA Group USA shows in Orlando, FL, the ACE Spring Convention and Hearth Patio and Barbeque Association Expo both in Atlanta, GA, the International Home and House wares Show in Chicago, the Vacuum and Sewing Dealer Trade Association Show in New Orleans, LA and the National Hardware Show in Las Vegas, NV.
"We just got back from the Orgill Spring Market and the owners and buyers we met with were impressed with the quality of SUNHEAT," said Josh Rookstool. "We had lots of interested dealers stop by our booth. They really wanted to know more about The Original SUNHEAT and it didn't take long for them to recognize there is a huge difference between our infrared heater and some of the other brands that were at the show."
Next stops are Orlando for the Brand Source Spring Summit and New Orleans for the VDTA/SDTA show. "It will be an exciting time with hectic travel, but tremendous opportunities to meet with people from around the world," said Rookstool. "From now until mid March we will be traveling from one show to the next."
The shows give the family owned Grand Island, Nebraska based company the venue to talk with buyers, owners and managers from all over the country, but their commitment is still to the independent dealer. "We built this product and this company with the help of independent retailers, mom and pop dealers, who have a commitment to quality and service. Even though we are presenting at major shows, we still focus on those relationships with independent dealers."
"The hardware, appliance and furniture store buying groups and associations are made up of small business owners," said Ted Rookstool, president and CEO of Sunheat International. "These are the type of people who've helped us grow over the years. But now, because of these shows, we're able to get in front of larger groups of business owners, however we don't lose focus on what has made us successful and that is relationships."
The company knows there is a lot of competition at these shows and the investment in time, people and resources is tremendous.
