Strip Club Las Vegas Bans Google Glasses

Before Google Glass has even been released, a strip club in Las Vegas has announced they will be banned from their establishment.

The Las Vegas strip clubs have been a popular attraction for many years. A top choice for bachelor parties and visitors, these clubs has prided themselves on the discreetness of their guests.

Google Glass can completely ruin any reputability these clubs have in the city. Already strip club owners and managers are struggling with people arriving and using mobile phones in the clubs. Many of the visitors will try and take videos and photographs while inside and all it takes is them catching a celebrity enjoying a night out with friends on film and everything will be blown out of proportion.

Google Glass are expected to be ready for release at the end of 2013, early 2014 at a hefty price tag. These glasses will offer a camera, microphone, touch pad and display. They are basically a mini computer which is worn as spectacles. But for strip club managers in Las Vegas they are more dangerous than that.

All the strip clubs in Vegas have banned cameras and have to keep a close eye on anyone with a smartphone, so the new Google Glass is just the next item they will have to be wary of.

Speaking to a spokesman at City VIP Concierge we were told that it's not only the strip clubs in Vegas that will be banning these new glasses, casinos, theaters and art galleries in the city will be banning them as well.

As anyone can imagine the danger these glasses can be in a casino. Already casinos have to keep a close eye on the patrons to ensure cheating isn't taking place, so it's no surprise that these glasses will not be allowed on the premises.

The strip clubs in the city have always been widely accepted. They offer a fun atmosphere for visitors and those enjoying a bachelor weekend in Sin City. With so many strip clubs in the city, each manager and owner is going to have to go to new lengths to ensure that the privacy of the clubs are not being violated.

Luckily these glasses won't be very discreet and will be easily to spot, they wrap on the face like glasses with one side being a glass eye piece, which is the display. Unlike smartphones and cameras which can be sneaked under a table, Google Glass will be much easier to spot.
