Award winning, St. Louis based Internet strategy, design and development firm, SteadyRain, is excited to announce the addition of Jim Murphy as a Senior Internet Strategist SIC. As a senior level strategist and consultant Jim will leverage his many years of experience in direct email, online marketing and development to increase profit, decrease costs, increase efficiencies and help to create competitive advantages in the marketplace for SteadyRain's top-shelf client roster.

Jim is a seasoned marketing veteran and brings more than 16 years of experience in the digital space to the SteadyRain team. Over the course of his career, he's worked with clients like Ameren UE, Ashley Furniture, AT&T, Jack Daniels, McDonald's, Mercy Hospital, Missouri Division of Tourism, St. Louis Children's Hospital and Touchstone Energy to solve business challenges through strategic digital communication.

Jim's thorough understanding of both offline and online marketing tactics, as well as keen technical capabilities and creativity, allow him to provide strategic, multi-channel marketing solutions, from brand websites to mobile apps and online marketing campaigns.

"Instead of focusing on a single digital marketing channel, I encourage clients to think about the bigger problem or goal. Then we work together to create an effective solution that will bring the best results across their digital landscape," said Jim of his marketing philosophy. "Creating a cohesive integration between all marketing channels, both on and offline, has always been at the core of every solution."

Outside of the office, Jim describes himself as "Grizzly Adams - without the beard." A general outdoor enthusiast, Jim is an avid fly fisherman and enjoys rock climbing, camping, paddling and hiking in the wilderness of Missouri. In addition, Jim often puts his degree in sculpture to work, enjoying various forms of artistic expression from drawing to painting and sculpting.

"Jim is definitely not your average, every day tech dude-oddly, he actually likes the outdoors, which works well with our focus on parks and recreation," said Thompson Knox, President of SteadyRain. "He has been a longtime friend to SteadyRain and has expertise in areas that accents our Strategy team perfectly and extends our ability to consult beyond our current offerings. We look forward to getting his big ideas around how that expertise can assist our current client list and how his unparalleled relationship-building skills can help us create new client opportunities."
