Stanison Yazzie Selected as New Member of the DDC Board of Directors
WINDOW ROCK, Ariz., September 26, 2018 (Newswire.com) - Diné Development Corporation (DDC) Shareholder Representatives confirmed Stanison Yazzie as DDC’s newest member of the Board of Directors, after a successful search and formal vetting process. Yazzie will serve a one-year term. The DDC management and Board of Directors were commended by Shareholder Representatives for incorporating a young professional into DDC’s mission in support of providing employment opportunities and economic viability to the Navajo Nation.
Stanison Yazzie, Diné of Chinle, Arizona, and a senior project manager at Western Millwork Inc., brings a new perspective and energy to the DDC Board of Directors. His overall experience regarding the management of large-scale construction projects that include gaming venues, housing, and industrial developments will provide a unique business perspective that will surely complement existing DDC board members’ deep industry knowledge. Yazzie is a graduate of Northern Arizona University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in construction management.
