St. Louis Internet Marketer Earns Bing Ads Accreditation

Kirstie Hamel, pay-per-click strategist at Clix, recently qualified as a Bing Ads Accredited Professional.

Pay-Per-Click (PPC) Strategist Kirstie Hamel of St. Louis Internet marketing firm Clix recently qualified as a Bing Ads Accredited Professional. By earning the accreditation Hamel is now qualified to create, manage, and analyze paid advertising campaigns on Bing, the search engine owned by Microsoft.

"Following the recent announcement that Bing will become integrated for Apple users in iOS7, it became apparent to us that we can no longer focus on Google AdWords alone," Hamel said. "We are excited to provide expanded options to our clients who are utilizing Pay-Per-Click as part of their overall marketing strategies."

As the PPC strategist at Clix, Kirstie manages accounts for clients in a variety of industries, including real estate, medical practices, law firms and more. Monthly campaign budgets can range from a few hundred to several thousands of dollars.

The Bing Ads Accredited Professional Program consists of more than 25 self-directed training modules followed by an exam. The training covers topics such as managing Bing Ads accounts, writing effective Bing Ads, and how to effectively use Bing's analytics tools. By completing the accreditation, Hamel is now listed in Bing's Accredited Professional Membership Directory.

Bing is an Internet search engine created and owned by Microsoft. It was launched in 2009, replacing Microsoft's former search engines MSN Search and Windows Live Search. Bing Ads (formerly known as Microsoft adCenter) is Bing's PPC advertising service which manages paid search advertising for both Bing and Yahoo!. As of April 2013, Bing and Yahoo! are used for approximately 5.9 billion searches per month, or about 29 percent of all Internet searches in the United States.
