Some of the main improvements and characteristics of the shoe include a Primeknit upper that molds to the foot, eliminating the need for laces; the Purecontrol laceless sock forefoot without edges or overlays; a Non-Stop Grip layer of raised dots on the upper part of the shoe designed to give better ball control; a lightweight Sprintframe outsole; and, Total Control stud alignment to maximize speed and stability on firm ground.
Developed in part by German national team and Arsenal footballer Mesut Ozil and tested in Sweden, the new shoe retails for $300 a pair and is available in two colors including neon green with black and fuschia accents or black with neon green and fuschia accents.
