Smartec Introduced New Day/Night Camera With Full-Functional Sony Processor And DNR
Online, July 29, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Smartec Company product line has supplemented with STC-3009 Day/Night cameras equipped with removable IR cut filter and capable to produce clear image with 540 TVL res at up to 0,08/0,04 lux of min illumination. This Day/Night camera is supplied with 1/3" SONY Super HAD II CCD, which has enhanced color rendering, digital noise reduction (DNR), AGC, flickerless/backlight compensation. In addition this Day/Night camera allows customer to mount lenses with auto iris (AI) controlled by DC or video signals.
Camera of STC-3009 series has Sony SuperHAD II CCD and DSP HQ1 processor helping Smartec Day/Night cameras to generate clear video signal with 540 TVL in different light conditions. In extremely low light conditions Smartec analog camera can activate AGC (auto gain control, which increases the signal level at 26 dB.
Round-the-clock video surveillance is carried out by removable IR cut filter, which switches Day/Night camera between "Day" and "Night" modes. With a decrease of illumination level up to 2 lux, IR cut filter is automatically disabled and Smartec Day/Night camera switches from color to b/w mode. Thus this camera can produce color and b/w images at 0.08/0.04 lux respectively.
DNR (digital noise reduction) effectively eliminates noise component of the video helping Smartec camera to improve images quality even in low light conditions. With activated DNR function Day/Night camera provides serious disk space saving along with an improved visual perception of the video signal.
Camera settings can be adjusted using DIP-switches on a back panel of the analog camera. It enables user to adjust settings and activate necessary functions according to the recent operating conditions. For example, this Day/Night camera allows installer to activate AGC, internal synchronization, flickerless/backlight compensation and electronic shutter.
In the base product configuration Smartec Day/Night analog camera can operate indoors at -10 ° to +50 ° C. For easy camera installation it is recommended to use optional wall/ceiling brackets: Smartec STB-C01 and STB-C02. The efficiency of Smartec camera in low light conditions enables installer to use CCTV camera for outdoor applications. Depending on temperature, humidity and other factors, this camera must be placed in a thermal housing. For example, Smartec STC-1230S thermal housing has IP66 rating and ensures stable security camera operation at -40 ° to +50 ° C.
New Smartec camera supports all types of lenses allowing user to use camera in different monitoring conditions. For example, STC-3009 Day/Night camera can operate using vari focal model STL-2712DC or STL-40FFDC lens with fixed focal length. In addition new this Day/Night camera can work with lenses with AI, controlled by video or DC signal.
