Skyline New York's Client Wins "Best in Show" Award at the New York Times Travel Show!

Skyline New York’s client ‘Turkish Culture and Tourism Office’ has been awarded with The New York Times Travel Show 2016 Award of Excellence for “Best in Show” on January 10, 2016 at the Jacob Javits Center. The award was presented for original exhibit design and overall functionality of the newly designed interactive display.

Skyline New York’s task was to showcase Turkey’s distinctive culture, rich history, and astounding resort destinations, as well as provide sub-stations for the various travel and tourism related service providers. Skyline met this challenge by providing grand format dye-sub images on sculpted fabric forms which created a unique architectural environment, while travel related partners were each showcased in their own unique space.

2016 New York Times Travel Show is an international celebration of travel, food and culture and is the largest and longest-running trade and consumer travel show in North America.

Skyline New York has won many awards of excellence for exhibit design in the past and was delighted to be chosen to design and create this exceptional exhibit for the Turkish Culture and Tourism Office.  Being given the opportunity to design an exhibit that would encompass the many aspects of what Turkey has to offer by the way of travel, tourism, agriculture and history was a challenge that Skyline New York was happy to take on.  Skyline New York’s attention to detail and ability to turn a client’s needs into reality really paid off.

Skyline New York designs trade show exhibits in New York for use throughout the world. The New York trade show booth company is part of the global Skyline Exhibits network and offers more than 19 different exhibit systems.

"Many of our customers first come to Skyline because of the wide variety of exhibiting options we offer, but they stay with us year after year because of their experience working with us. We only use the best materials, which makes displays strong, long-lasting and vibrant and I think our clients really appreciate the hands-on experience they get with Skyline. They get to be heavily involved in the design process and have many opportunities for customization of the booth. It's very much a team-effort between Skyline and the client," explained Robert Watson, President of Skyline New York.

Skyline's exhibiting options includes banner stands, pop-up displays, tabletop displays and large and small walk-through island displays. Many of the trade show booths at New York's Skyline are portable and modular in nature, which means they fit with other systems so booths can adapt and change along with the clients' needs or budget. The company has a large showroom in Hauppauge that is open to the public and offers free design consultations. To learn more about Skyline New York, visit them at www.skylinenewyork.com.
