Silipint to Open New Offices in Bend, Oregon's Old Mill District
Swift growth of company with world's first and only silicone pint glass creates need for expanded office space in Bend, Oregon shopping district
Online, April 12, 2011 (Newswire.com) - The Old Mill District, Bend Oregon's premier shopping, dining and entertainment district, today announced that Silipint will be opening new offices above Victoria's Secret. The company, which is based in Bend, makes and sells the first and only silicone pint glass. The product, which is dishwasher safe, microwave safe, oven safe, freezer safe and contains no BPA, is currently being offered as a branded product.
Rick Fredland, founder of the company and the inventor of the Silipint, said, "With the rapid growth of the company, we recently hired several new independent sales reps. They wanted a place to share energy and ideas, and the Old Mill District offered us a fun environment, location and access to the outdoor culture, river and local restaurants."
The first Silipint prototypes came out last year, but Fredland said the company has really taken off over the last four months with several new hires and growing awareness about the product. The company will continue to operate its warehouse space for shipping; a space that it shares with Fredland's other company, Tazlab, which produces products for dogs.
