Showmen's Group Names Real 3D's Entertainer DX as Most Innovative and Best in Show!
Tampa, FL, February 9, 2015 (Newswire.com) - It was award day for the most heralded exhibits at the 2015 Showmen's Association super trade show extravaganza featuring the largest array of amusement products from around the world.
This year, the best overall went to Real 3D Creative Labs for their Entertainer DX all-in-one dancing green screen video system and event photo-booth. Real 3D also took home the Most Innovative award for the same system. This was only the second time in show history that the same company and product won the top two awards simultaneously. Its important to also note that if there was an award for Most Popular, they would have received that as well. As the show's attendance grew, droves of people waited to get their turn making one of their green screen videos. One almost had to feel sorry for the exhibitors directly to the left and right of the Real 3D exhibit as the rows of people stretched out directly in front of their exhibits.
"It lends credance that 2015 is going to be a huge year for all amusement and event related industries."
Will Cook, President and CEO
Winning Rookie of the year was another popular attraction called Bob's Space Racers. Although they technically weren't a rookie to the show, their product qualified as it was completely re-designed with a different name. While not nearly as popular as the overall winner, Bob's Space Racers was a lot of fun, and am sure you will be seeing these popping-up in all the fairs and festivals in the not to distan't future.
Other Honorable Mentions included the Eli Bridge Company for their new park-model drive system for the Scrambler who's new drives are quieter and pose less of a trip hazard with fewer moving parts. Guy Sherbourne, Sr. with Ori, LLC also received recognition as an industry pioneer by the Outdoor Amusement Business Association this week.
Its also important to note that with the rebound in the economy, this was the largest and had the highest attendance in the 47 year history of the show. "It certainly was fantastic to see the big turn-around in the industry over the past few years," said Will Cook, show president. "It lends credance that 2015 is going to be a huge year for all amusement and event related industries."
The trade show ran for 4 days and wrapped up on Saturday, February 7th with a half day of show and the new committee drawing following the close of the show. On Tuesday, February 10th, the new officers will be installed.
