SEPA Relaunches Snapshots Program to Accelerate Transition to Carbon-Free Energy Future
WASHINGTON, February 21, 2024 (Newswire.com) - The Smart Electric Power Alliance (SEPA) is thrilled to announce the relaunch of its Snapshots Program, a cutting-edge initiative designed to aggregate vital insights into the industry’s journey toward a carbon-free future.
The revamped Snapshots Program, aligned with SEPA’s five focus areas – Resilience, Transportation, Emerging Technologies, Policy, and Energy Storage – along with Energy Equity, aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the industry landscape while fostering collaboration and driving progress toward shared clean energy goals.
Through short, 15-minute pulse surveys conducted semi-annually, the Snapshots Program will capture and report on the perspectives of utilities and industry stakeholders, facilitating a deeper understanding of industry trends and challenges. In recognizing that every stakeholder in the energy industry faces different organizational challenges, SEPA is bridging the gaps between utilities and the industry. These insights will be instrumental in developing flagship market intelligence reports later in the year, offering in-depth analysis of our transition to carbon-free electricity.

The industry survey, launching this summer, will capture similar information around technology and solution development, encountered challenges, and future perspectives on the industry as a whole. This second pulse survey will target non-utility industry players, including solution providers, regulatory entities, and other private or non-profit organizations.
