Kapoor brings with him a wealth of experience garnered over 19 years in the industry as he joins a team that has won World Travel Award’s “Leading Serviced Apartment Brand in India” in both 2015 and 2014. He will report to Craig Bond, Vice President of Operations for South Asia and Southeast Asia, Oakwood Asia Pacific.

Kapoor’s most recent role was hotel manager of Vibe Hotel Marysville in Melbourne which saw him spearheading the pre-opening of the property and working hand-in-hand with the parent company and owners. Prior to this, Kapoor served as the Executive Assistant Manager of Leela Kempinski Guragaon Hotel and Residences in New Delhi, which was awarded Best Hotel and Residences in India in 2014. He had previously held various leadership roles with the Hyatt group in Melbourne, Sydney, Perth and Gold Coast, as well as the Crown Casino & Hotels Melbourne in the role of Food and Beverage Executive Manager.
An Australian, Sanjeev Kapoor holds a Diploma in Hotel Management from the Institute of Hotel Management in New Delhi.
