Sam's Kiln-Dried Firewood Launches Mobi Site

Sam's Kiln-Dried Firewood launches a new web site geared for 1st tier mobile devices.

Sam's Kiln-Dried Firewood has launched a mobile device specific web site to enhance their online presence. In order to provide an excellent online experience for all users, Sam's has scaled down the content from their main web site to fit on modern hand held screens. The entire experience is designed to scale for the smaller screens of first tier mobile devices. The "mobi" experience is expected to generate more online sales by decreasing the web site bounce rate when mobile users view the main site.

Included in the new design is also a scaled down e-commerce experience. Being the only Atlanta enterprise offering kiln-dried firewood sales online, Sam's seeks to further expand their brand footprint into online marketing avenues. "We have to offer our current customers and potential customers any and all methods of ordering firewood. Relying on phone calls, cold calls, mail or any other brick and mortar marketing strategy is short sighted and antiquated. In order for Sam's to take the firewood business to new professional heights, we must direct our marketing plan toward social networking and mobile device strategies", declares Tug Helmer - CEO.

Mobile devices are on track to out-pace PC's in Internet bandwidth use in the near future. Due to this trend designing for mobile devices is fast becoming a first consideration for businesses rather than an afterthought. Sam's seeks to take advantage of these trends to expand its business throughout the Southeast.

Sam's will be rounding out their online marketing approach with aggressive and personalized social networking strategies. "Responding to our customers by the quickest means possible is the cornerstone of our service values. We have a great product that is in high demand, but our very high standards for customer service will be the driver setting Sam's apart from the competition. We're focused on fundamentals and a traditional service approach where the customer comes first", says Helmer.
