SAFER Systems Launches Growth Effort with New President
Online, April 28, 2014 (Newswire.com) - SAFER Systems is proud to announce the appointment of Allen Edmond as the company's President and Chief Executive. Edmond has also been made a Director on the Board of Platform Management, SAFER's parent company.
Edmond brings decades of experience running companies and growing them. Most notably, he lead Ellay, Inc. to become one of the most successful PVC medical plastic manufacturing companies in the United States and Europe. He also has an extensive history in venture capital. As a result, Edmond brings both a corporate background as well as an entrepreneurial spirit to SAFER.
"Allen has a track record of success in finding new markets and leading major initiatives," said Platform Management Director Steve Mines. "He is the perfect person to lead SAFER as the company launches new product lines and adapts its existing products to new technologies."
"I was so impressed by the opportunity for growth here at SAFER Systems," said Edmond. "Their client list is a who's who of everyone in the chemical industry but there is so much more they can do in terms of market penetration. The chance to create something that is not only good business but also saves lives is something I could not pass up."
Edmond will be based out of the company's offices in Southern California, but will spend plenty of time working with Platform Management's board in Houston, Texas.
