Ruby Bryant's New Book, "Zipping the Bag Shut" is a Compelling Autobiography of the Highs and Lows She Has Experienced and God's Active Presence in Her Life.

Recent release "Zipping the Bag Shut" from Covenant Books author Ruby Bryant is a moving work about the joyful times and moments of weakness she has gone through as well as the births and deaths of her loved ones she has coped with through the enduring truth that God's love overcomes all kinds of pain, struggles, and failures.

Ruby Bryant, a Christian who has worked in the hospital for twenty-six years and in the local newspaper as a stringer with her own column, has completed her new book, “Zipping the Bag Shut”: an inspiring and gripping autobiography that presents her struggles in dealing with the grief due to loss, working in the long-term care unit, having her own physical problems, among others, and how the Lord has guided her through it all.

Ruby shares, “I was alone for a three-hour drive home with sixteen hours of pain, loss, tears, and regrets from the meetings spinning around in my head with my own personal tears and regrets to mingle with them. I felt as though my head was going to explode. I could not stop the tears, which made driving a little difficult. I pulled over to the side of the road. I cried out to God to forgive me for the mistakes I had made. I could no longer handle living in my own sin and disillusionment. I needed Christ in my life and in my heart. I believed in Jesus, his virgin birth, his death, and his resurrection three days later. I believed in his glorious gift of salvation. I believed it all. I cried, and I prayed, and I pleaded with God to save my son, then I cried and prayed for my husband and for God to put his loving hand of protection over our daughter. I prayed and cried for a long while it seemed. My life was forever changed after that weekend.”

Published by Covenant Books of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, Ruby Bryant’s new book is an insightful work on realizing that life is more than one’s dealings with its imperfections; Jesus desires to be in people’s hearts and be there for every believer.

She encourages everyone to open their hearts and let Jesus enter before it is too late. He hears all prayers and fulfills all of his promises.
