River Nile Reopens Between Cairo And Luxor - Cairo to Aswan Cruise

Good news for Nile cruise lovers and tourists to Egypt as the portion of Egypt's Lower Nile River which runs between Cairo and Luxor reopens to cruise vessels after over 16 years.

This means that tourists can now sail all the way from Cairo to Aswan.

The stretch of the Nile was originally closed due to security concerns and unpredictable water levels in the 1980's, however after extensive renovation work on the section of the river to make it safe again, it has been given the green light for cruise ships to sail down it once again.

Nile Cruise is offering its customers this unique experience of sailing between Luxor and Cairo when its vessel HS Nile Vision makes the return trip to Cairo to start the long cruise programme in September. This an unique opportunity as the offer is for one date only on Tuesday the 27th of August and is not to be missed! The cruise will include 7 days accommodation on Full Board or All Inclusive, transfers and an amazing 17 excursions all accompanied by an English speaking egyptologist.

As many of the destinations on route were previously very difficult to get to when the section of the river was closed this is a great chance for lovers of Egypt to soak in even more of its rich history and culture. The itinerary includes visits to Luxor Temple, Karnak Temple, Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Queens, Temple of Hatshepsut, Colossi of Memnon, Dendarah Temple, Abydos Temple, Tel Amarna, Beni Hassan, Tuna El Gabel, Cairo Museum, Citadel, Khan El Khalili Bazaar, Pyramids, Sphinx and Sakkara Step Pyramid.

Be some of the first to see travel down a section of the Nile that has been closed for over a decade in style on the HS Nile Vision. Prices start from£ 1139 per person and include seven nights Full Board on HS Nile Vision, return flights London Heathrow/Luxor and Cairo/London Heathrow, all transfers, taxes and fuel surcharge.
