BJB SC-30 Vanilla Fragrance Additive
This revolutionary product will transform castings by masking any natural odours and adding a very pleasant smell to the resin system. SC-30 is designed to be used with polyurethane and epoxy, alongside many other liquid resin systems. Just a few drops of SC-30 Vanilla in the casting mix will completely revolutionise the finished cast parts with an enjoyable vanilla scent. Staff at Techsil haven’t stopped thinking up uses for this grade; even to the point of wondering if one day someone will use this for shoes!
BJB AP-1230 Polyurethane Adhesive
At last the long-awaited Polyurethane Adhesive from BJB has arrived! AP-1230 is a flexible material with a 3-4 minute work time; outstanding bond strength and excellent shock absorption. Designed to bond together many of BJB’s flexible polyurethane cast products; this two-part adhesive is expected to take the PU market by storm!
Looking for an even quicker fix? The AP-1210 will gives a work time of just 30-40 seconds. Both of these quick setting adhesives are fully RoHS & REACH compliant and will remain flexible even when set and cured.
BJB SC-22 Polyurethane Softening Agent
SC-22 was originally released in late 2014 alongside the Fast Casting F & F-1 ranges; since then it has been gathering momentum as word spreads! When mixed with any of BJB’s polyurethane elastomers this innovative product allows the user to alter the hardness and elongation of the original polyurethane to meet exact specifications.
BJB TC-892 Rigid Polyurethane System
TC-892 is a rigid polyurethane casting system which incorporates a non-mercury based catalyst system and exhibits very low shrinkage! This tough, 2-part kit cures to a hard 80 Shore D material and is perfect when hand pouring large electronic housing; making models of all kinds and creating point of sale items. TC-892 comes with a 20 minute work time and a full de-mould time of 5 – 6 hours. However, if something a little quicker is required, there is the TC-891 with a 12 minute work time and the TC-890 with just a 5 minute work time.
Still need more? The TC-890 series is available in a range of work-times and all are obtainable as fire retardant versions; ideal for electrical enclosure applications. This FR range has UL940VO approval; with a flammability rating of 1/16” and they are still all completely RoHS and REACH compliant.
