We are excited to welcome back retired New York Jets running back, Freeman McNeil, as the guest speaker for the Men's Breakfast on October 3 from 8-10 a.m. at the Bethel Campus, located at 156 Walnut Hill Rd. Bethel CT. This event is $10 and is open to all men! Registration is required at www.walnuthillcc.org.

Retired New York Jets running back Freeman McNeil will be the guest speaker at Walnut Hill Community Church’s Men’s Breakfast on October 3, 2015 from 8–10 a.m.  This event is $10 and is open to the public. It all happens at the church’s Bethel Campus located at 156 Walnut Hill Road, Bethel, CT 06801.

On the field, McNeil validated being the third overall draft pick in 1981, from UCLA , by accumulating 8,074 rushing yards during a rare 12-year career, second only to Curtis Martin in team history.  More impressive, however, was his career average of 4.5 yards per carry, a better mark than many Hall-of-Famer's. Freeman is also one of the few running backs in history who averaged better than four yards per carry for every season of his stellar career. His amazing career was distinguished by being one of the first Jet players to be inducted into the prestigious NY Jets Ring of Honor.

"We are excited to welcome him back to our Bethel Campus for another inspiring program," said Jim Bray, Associate Pastor at Walnut Hill Community Church.
