Retired NFL Player Teams Up for Cocktails4Psoriasis Fundraiser During Big Game Week in San Francisco

Professional Athletes and Local Health Community Gather to Lend Support for a Worthy Cause

Over the weekend among the many events and festivities during Big Game Week in San Francisco, the University of California at San Francisco (UCSF) Mission Bay Conference Center welcomed guests for Cocktails4Psoriasis presented by LEO Pharma, Inc., hosted by retired NFL player and Psoriasis Spokesperson Jonathan Scott that benefited The National Psoriasis Foundation and the Scott Family Foundation.

This exclusive event was attended by notables like former NFL players and Oakland Raiders Executives Zachary Crockett and Langston Walker, Harlem Globetrotters player Tammy Brawner, Oakland Raiders Executive Brad Kaplan, Hampton Roads Youth Foundation Co-Founder Vernon Lee, Jr. and esteemed professionals from the medical community including local sponsor USCF Medical Center and USCF Benioff Children’s Hospital.

The event included a silent and live auction with items donated by the LA Clippers, CBS Entertainment Diversity, Bar 41, NFL players Michael Vick, Greg Jennings and Desmond Bishop; Harlem Globetrotters player Tammy Brawner, the San Francisco Giants, JRS Capital Entertainment LLC, Melville Winery and Disneyland Park.  The evening ended with a powerful Call to Cure where Jonathan Scott and a local Psoriasis patient gave moving testimonials on their journey living with Psoriasis followed by a LIVE donation segment where the audience generously donated to the Cause. Cocktails4Psoriasis purposed to make a difference in the lives of 7.5 million Americans living with psoriatic disease. Every dollar raised that evening will support the mission of the Foundation: to drive efforts to cure psoriatic disease and improve the lives of those affected.
