Researchvia : Crudeoil Reports; India Will Cut Crude Oil Imports by 10%

Mr. Modi had set the target of decreasing import dependence in the month of March previous year.

Crude oil updates : India will cut crude oil imports by around 10 per-cent in next six years by increasing domestic outcome, conserving fuel & moving to alternate sources like Ncdex natural gas, Mcx Oil Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said. "Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi has set us a target of reducing crude oil import dependence by 10 per-cent by the year 2022. We are confident of achieving that in six years," he told in an event here.

Mr. Modi had set the target of decreasing import dependence in the month of March previous year. He had sought the dependence to be cut to 66 per-cent from 77 per-cent dependence in 2013-14.

Sebi reports: Concerning the whip for illegal transfer of the shares & dividend money of companies, Sebi today prohibits, banned registrar & transfer agent of Sharepro Services and 15 other individuals from the securities market.

Sharepro Services (I) Pvt Ltd has been the registrar and share transfer agent for many top organizations, including Britannia , Tata Communications, Asian Paints & Kansai Nerolac .

Apart from imposing the ban on Sharepro and the 15 entities, the market watchdog has questioned the organizations concerned to carry out a "thorough audit" of the records, information and systems of Sharepro to ascertain whether the dividends have been paid to actual holders & whether securities have been transferred as per the law.
