Since the talk of boycotts against AZ some donors that have chosen not to support an educational group because of an AZ headquarters. Some schools have asked consultants to cease their services because of an AZ affiliation.

The Bing Foundation is a Non-Profit educational consulting and scholarship organization headquartered in Arizona. Since the talk of boycotts of Arizona due to a law that was recently passed national financing and services have been watched extremely carefully.

Since the talk of boycotts against Arizona some donors that have chosen not to support an educational group because of an Arizona headquarters. Some schools and school districts have even asked consultants and counselors to cease their services because of an Arizona affiliation.

To be clear all donations remain in the locality of collection. For example, if we receive a donation from an individual or business in Illinois then those funds are spent in Illinois. If the funds came from California, then they are used in California. Those funds are used to support our educational efforts in that state. They are used to help students in that state.

These boycotts have only served to hinder the educational advancement of the same students in your own state. Any move to boycott a service that is free to any student or their family, a service that only helps children reach their goals, a service that is responsible for assisting thousands of students from all over the country each year get into college, or graduate high school, or even pass their math course can only be described as a despicable boycott of your own students' education.

Regardless of which viewpoint you may hold on the immigration law that has yet to go into effect it is clear that a boycott is not the answer. The economy is already in recession. Why would you hurt the American people, their children, and our future leaders over something of which the citizens and business owners in Arizona had no direct control?

Spend your money on what you feel is good, wise, and helpful. Please do not initiate or support boycotts based on geography. There are good people and good businesses all over the country that will suffer due to these poor decisions.
