RateGain Brings Next Generation Of Features To Its Channel Management Solution

RateGain introduces distribution to offline channels, contract facilitation and currency conversion enhancements in ChannelGain, an online channel management solution for hotels.

In its continuous endeavour to maximize revenue potential for hotels through effective distribution strategy, RateGain introduces major enhancements in ChannelGain. Presently being used by thousands of independent as well as brand hotels worldwide, ChannelGain supports real-time inventory distribution to all leading regional and global OTAs with its advanced features. With these features, it enables hoteliers to strengthen their distribution network and relationships with existing & prospective online as well as offline channels. It further equips them to offer their rates in local currency on different regional OTAs.

New Enhancements
• Offline Channels or Wholesale (WS) Channels: Wholesale channels refer to booking/travel agents that sell hotel rooms as part of bulk and packaged deals. Hotels can get a customized list of such agents integrated in their own ChannelGain account that they can use to send availability updates on a real time basis. This feature enables hotels to reach out to all their offline travel agents network and manage their inventory from a single platform.

• Contract Facilitation: This feature bridges the distance in relationship between OTAs and hotels by providing hotels with a knowledge base of OTAs ranked by their popularity among their competitors and target markets. Using ChannelGain, hotels can now identify their prospective partners and directly reach out to these OTAs.

• Currency Conversion: This functionality helps hotelier to publish their rates in local currency on regional OTAs. They choose a base currency in ChannelGain and based on their partner network, this feature will automatically convert hotel rates into channel's local currency and update their regional partner channels.

Commenting on this new release, Abhishek Singh, AVP, Product Management said, "On a regular basis, we interact with our client hotels to understand their pain points and recommendations to improve our value proposition to them. These enhancements are part of our roadmap to enhance our existing solution and position it as the default choice for online channel management for our subscriber hotels".
