"QR Circus" On Display At "Hotel Lunar Lowell: Explorations In Atomicpunk" Art Exhibit
Online, June 13, 2011 (Newswire.com) - SEATTLE - Seattle artist Jerry Whiting has 2 pieces from his "QR Circus" collection on display at the Hotel Lunar Lowell: Explorations in Atomicpunk exhibit opening June 18, 2011 in Everett , Washington. The "QR Circus" is a body of work incorporating QR barcodes and smartphones into the creative process.
The Explorations in Atomicpunk exhibit is Lowell Art Works' 3rd Annual Sci-Fi Spectacular and features "art that celebrates science fiction, the atomic age, atomicpunk, steampunk, fantasy tech, radioactive monsters, and the optimistic aesthetic of mid-century design." Two of Jerry's digital prints, "Sputnik" and "Test Pattern", are in this juried show.
