Portuguese professional footballer Diogo Fonseca, age 30, announced that he wants to play soccer in the United States and more specifically with the New England Revolution.
Portugal, July 20, 2015 (Newswire.com) - Portuguese professional footballer Diogo Fonseca, age 30, announced that he wants to play soccer in the United States and more specifically with the New England Revolution. The Azorean born striker has played professionally for more than a decade in Portugal. At the age of 17, he formed a part of the Portuguese national U19 national team and has played for some of Portugal more advancing clubs. His playing characteristics as a footballer keeps him busy on Portuguese clubs.
“Playing on an American team would be my ultimate dream”, said Fonseca. “Representing my Azorean community in America with the New England Revolution would be the super ultimate dream”, he added.

Fonseca starts a new season with a new team in Portugal but continues to eye the possibility of playing on America turf. "Academico de Viseu is a great club to play for and I will play my heart out. But my dream continues to be filled with revolt", said Fonseca.
