PMT Unveils New In-Vehicle Docking Station for Getac EX80
CALGARY, Canada, February 26, 2018 (Newswire.com) - Precision Mounting Technologies Ltd. (PMT) today announced a new docking station designed for the Getac EX80 tablet. The tablet is fully rugged and certified for Zone 0 hazardous and potentially explosive environments such as the oil and gas industry. For oil and gas workers, the PMT docking station will safely hold and charge their rugged tablet in their vehicle. Once on-site, the tablet is easy to remove to take into the Zone 0 area.
The docking station features full port replication, a forward facing USB port for accessories like a keyboard or mouse, easy one-handed operation, space for the tablet’s hand strap or another accessory, and a super slim design for even the smallest vehicles. A small indicator light on the front of the tablet lets you know the docking station is powered and charging your tablet. Like the EX80 tablet it holds, the docking station is incredibly rugged and has passed MIL-STD 810 testing and comes with a 3-year limited warranty.
The rugged all-aluminum construction of the dock perfectly complements the ruggedness and durability of the tablet, and users in this market segment will appreciate the compact size and ease of use the dock presents.
