Plantations International Launches Micro Lending Platform to Help Farmers in Developing Countries
Hong Kong, June 2, 2016 (Newswire.com) - Hong Kong based sustainable plantation and farm management company Plantations International Launches its KIVA Micro Lending platform to help low income farmers in developing countries brake the shackles of poverty, says Mr. Marvin Lee, the Director of Communications for Plantations International.
Plantations International has currently selected farmers Vietnam, Indonesia, Cambodia, Kenya and El Salvador for its first round of Micro Loans, but the company hopes to expand to over 50 countries by years end.

The world’s low income farmers are as diverse in their needs as they are in their cultures but they are they help keep the bread baskets of their local communities full. Regular salaried jobs are scarce in many countries, so many people make their living through small scale subsistence farming.
Plantations International hopes that its lending program will do its part in alleviating poverty. Our micro loans can be used for a variety of purposes from seed purchases, land clearance, harvesting to selling the harvested marketable products.
