Verification is the most basic service that is offered by Pipette.com. When a pipette is sent in for verification, all customer information is uploaded into the “Total Pipette Management” (TPM) program, allowing companies to check all available information online. This allows all customers to be “audit ready” at all times. Pipettes that are received for verification are tested for Leakage, Functionality, and Calibration. This service includes 4 x 2 weighings at the low and high-volume specifications with the results uploaded to the TPM software for customers to view. The pipette is adjusted with the manufacturer specific tool for tighter calibration specifications before being detailed with a full body wipe down, cleaning and sticker placement. Following a final inspection by the Quality Control office, paperwork is completed and matched with corresponding instruments before being packaged for delivery. The Standard Calibration service a cut and dry calibration service that Pipette.com now provides. User information is uploaded to the TPM software for tracking purposes and allows customers to be “audit ready” at all times. Pipettes in this service undergo a complete Preventative Maintenance process where each pipette is completely dissembled, cleaned inside and out, pistons are polished and re-greased, and seals/O-rings are replaced as needed. After the pipettes are reassembled, leakage, functional and calibration checks are performed. Next, pipettes are delivered to the calibration team for 4 x 2 weighings at specified manufacturer requirements and the results are uploaded to TPM profile. Extended calibration points and weighings can be done upon request. Similar to the Verification steps, a complete, full body wipe down, cleaning and sticker placement is done following calibration. The Quality Control office completes a final inspection and matches instruments with finalized paperwork before shipping.
