Pilani Shridhar University NOIDA NIESBUD Collaborative Training Program Inaugurated

The National Institute for Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development - NIESBUD established in 1983 and presently under the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises - MSME, Government of India, is an apex body for coordinating and overseeing the activities of various institutions / agencies engaged in Entrepreneurship Development particularly in the area of small industry and small business. NIESBUD mission is to Promote, Support and Sustain Entrepreneurship and Small Business through Training, Education, Research, Consultancy and other interventions throughout the Globe.
In this context, Shridhar University joined hands with NIESBUD for conducting Housekeeping & Hospitality Training Program for candidates in and around Pilani and the same was inaugurated on 10 February 2012 in the Lecture Theatre of the University. Prof Tarun Roy Choudhary welcomed the gathering and gave an overview of NIESBUD. Mr Aditya Roy Choudhary presented the details of the training program calendar which is being coordinated by Mr Pankaj Sharma. Prof Shakti Baijal urged the participants to become entrepreneurs instead of becoming job seekers.
Prof Natarajan Pro Vice Chancellor Shridhar University highlighted the importance of Housekeeping and Hospitality in the context of Tourism Sector which has top ranking potential for employment generation in India today apart from serving the purpose of linking cultures which goes a long way in building not only national integration but also international understanding and mutual respect.
SDM Chirawa Mr Narayan Singh Seshma who was to inaugurate the program as Chief Guest could not make it due to unavoidable exigencies. Mr K C Boukesh Assistant Director MSME Development Institute Jaipur, in his address congratulated Shridhar University for taking up the initiative in conducting this training program in collaboration with NIESBUD and advised the participants to make best use of the opportunity given to them.
