The site combined millions of facts with user input to objectively find the best whiskeys available. The company worked with data that utilizes rankings from the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, the Beverage Testing Institute, and Wine Enthusiasts Magazine.

What is notable about Pikimal's approach is that it does not restrict the site to providing only one generalized top ten, but allows for the quick generation of "best lists" based on any number of features.
