PhysicianOne Urgent Care proudly announces their one-year anniversary treating patients in Massachusetts.

PhysicianOne Urgent Care first opened their doors in Massachusetts in June 2016, in Chestnut Hill. Since that time, the organization has opened three additional locations in Waltham, Medford and Westwood.

"Our patients are happy to have a high-quality, cost-effective, and convenient alternative to be seen and treated when their Primary Care Provider is not available."

Dr. Jeannie Kenkare, Chief Medical Officer of PhysicianOne Urgent Care

"Our patients are happy to have a high-quality, cost-effective, and convenient alternative to be seen and treated when their Primary Care Provider is not available," said Dr. Jeannie Kenkare, founder and Chief Medical Officer of PhysicianOne Urgent Care. "And we are happy to be that solution for them."

"Not only have we provided high-quality medical care for thousands of patients in Massachusetts, we've provided an exceptional patient experience for them," said Lynne Rosen, CEO of PhysicianOne Urgent Care. PhysicianOne Urgent Care's 5-star online review rating, which the company has maintained in Massachusetts, speaks to that exceptional experience.

PhysicianOne Urgent Care is honored to have treated thousands of patients in Massachusetts over the past year, with many of those patients taking advantage of the company's convenient online check-in feature.

"Getting sick isn't convenient. However, the care you receive should be," said Rosen. "With both online check-in and extended walk-in hours, we offer a solution that puts the patient in control."

To thank each community, PhysicianOne Urgent Care is offering complimentary tick removers in all Massachusetts centers, available Saturday, July 15 through Monday, July 17, while supplies last. Lyme disease is especially prevalent in Massachusetts this year, and it is important to be vigilant in checking daily for ticks — the number one way to prevent Lyme disease. If you do find a tick, it can be safely removed without any human contact by using the tick remover.

"We are seeing many patients come into our centers across Massachusetts, Connecticut and New York to be evaluated and treated for Lyme disease, so we felt this helpful tool was an appropriate way to thank the communities for their support," said Tager.
