Before beginning his career in wealth management, Lengsfeld got his start down an altogether different path. After earning his Masters in Mechanical Engineering from UC Irvine, he worked as an engineer in Southern California. As he tells it, Lengsfeld decided to transfer to a field where he could have a more direct impact on people's lives:

Since making the transition in 1995, Lengsfeld has immersed himself in the complex world of wealth management. In addition to being a CFP®, he has obtained several Insurance and FINRA® licenses including becoming a Registered Investment Advisor Representative. Lengsfeld is an active member of the Financial Planning Association having served as Chair of the Public Relations committee for the local chapter and as a member of the Pro Bono Committee for the national FPA® organization.

Lengsfeld resides in Denver with his wife Corinne – a tenured professor of engineering at the University of Denver – and two wonderful and precocious children, daughter Samantha and son Pierson. Together they love international travel, skiing, and the Rocky Mountains.
