In November, before jury selection, Lesnevich, Marzano-Lesnevich, Trigg, O’Cathain & O’Cathain, LLC reached a seven-figure settlement on behalf of a 65- year-old woman who was severely injured in a trucking accident.
Their client was a passenger in a car that was in line at a gas station when a delivery truck reversed into the car. The delivery truck denied responsibility and argued that there was very little damage to the vehicles; however, their client complained of neck pain and underwent conservative treatment, including acupuncture and physical therapy.
When the conservative treatment didn’t relieve the pain, their client underwent a cervical fusion. The case was settled with the Court before the parties were sent to pick a jury.
