ParetoLogic Takes Home the VIATeC Team of the Year Award

Online, May 21, 2010 (Newswire.com) - At the recent VIATeC Technology Awards gala, ParetoLogic's Business Operations group claimed their prize as the Team of the Year. The annual event recognized top technology companies in Greater Victoria, with categories including Online Strategy of the Year, Environmental Excellence, and Innovative Excellence.

"We're proud of the work we've done over the past year and we are truly honored by this award," said Gary Theobald, Project Manager and Team Lead of ParetoLogic's Business Operations group.

Business Operations group, or Biz-Ops, is ParetoLogic's rapid deployment solution to plan, implement, and track cross-department sales and customer relations strategies. The group, which is composed of developers, managers, marketers, and QA representatives, demonstrated a commitment to communication and productivity over the year.

These qualities made the team an excellent candidate for the Team of the Year award, which "recognizes an individual or team in the technology sector who has demonstrated outstanding initiative and service delivery, and has had a significant impact on the company for which they work."

Theobald said of the team's performance that "Biz-Ops doesn't let up. We had 71 targeted objectives over the year. We set realistic but competitive goals and did everything in our power to meet them."

The team garnered similar recognition at ParetoLogic's internal corporate awards this past winter, where they claimed their first Team of the Year award.

Also at the VIATeC gala event, ParetoLogic took home a finalist trophy for the Online Strategy of the Year.
