Bahia Honda State Park, Florida

Bahia Honda has several white sandy beaches for you to enjoy. Calusa is the smallest beach; it is located on the northwest side of the island. There are several small pavilions in this area and a bathhouse with outdoor, fresh water showers. Loggerhead is the shallowest beach and is located on the south side of the island. It is known for the large shallow sand bar just a few feet offshore.

Boston, Massachusetts

Quincy Market is a popular destination that will get you oriented with both the layout and distinctive style of this historic city. And speaking of history, Fenway Park is popular with locals and tourists alike, and you don't even have to be a Red Sox fan to enjoy a game (but it helps!). You may also want to put some class in your trip and take a free walking tour of one of the many elite colleges located in Boston. Harvard, MIT and the famed Berklee College of Music are all loaded with historic buildings and grounds. Pretend you're a student for a day! The city is also home to one of the best aquariums in the eastern United States. When your visit at the aquarium is over, spend the rest of the day walking the waterfront or visiting one of Boston's excellent seafood restaurants.

Bozeman, Montana

Though Bozeman is far from being the largest city in Montana, its landscape is highly rated by Montana travelers. Nestled by the Rocky Mountains and the Gallatin National Forest, Bozeman is an outdoorsman's paradise. Get away from the bustle of the big city and enjoy the peace and quite of nature while fly-fishing or exploring wildlife on a safari tour. If taking it relatively easy is not your thing, then sign up for a thrilling whitewater rafting trip, but make sure you hold on tight - some of the raft trips are not for the faint of heart.

Branson, Missouri

Branson is an unassuming vacation destination with small-town charm and big-city entertainment in the heart of the Ozark Mountains. Millions of visitors come each year to see a show at any of the 50 theaters and enjoy outdoor fun on the lake.

Caladesi Island State Park, Florida

This Florida state park has 3 miles of nature trail and 108-slip marina. Caladesi Island has something for everyone. Picnic pavilions, bathhouses, and a park concession all make the visit more comfortable. Fishing, shelling, and nature studies are all ways to enjoy a visit.

California

In northern California's Bay Area, San Francisco has plenty of sightseeing for families. Moving south, the Ritz-Carlton Half Moon Bay has a scenic spot on bluffs above unspoiled coast. Monterey Bay is home to a major aquarium, and a good place to see sea lions, harbor seals and sea otters; March and April are whale-watching months as well. Halfway between SF and LA, San Luis Obispo has low-cost attractions plus free fun at beaches with tide pools, or piers, or sand dunes. There is also a free night-time farmers' market with live music, and bouncey houses for kids. California offers skiing too, in the east of the state: for example, Mammoth Mountain is a great place for spring break skiing, and is in the Sierra Nevada range.

Canadian Rockies

Alberta's section of the Rocky Mountains is a glorious playground of waterways ringed by snowcapped peaks. Grab bikes and ride around that gem of water, Lake Louise, perched a mile high, and you'll understand. Then hike with rangers at Banff and Jasper national parks to see glaciers and grizzlies at a distance. You can paddle the shores of Maligne Lake or raft down the Sunwapta River, an exciting yet safe introduction to whitewater rafting.

Cancun, Mexico

Miles of beaches, endless luxury accommodations and a nonstop party atmosphere in Cancun have transformed this once sleepy village on the Yucatan coast into one of Mexico's most popular tourist attractions, particularly during spring break.
