Springdale, AR, January 18, 2016 (Newswire.com) - Outback in the Ozarks, an exciting 200 mile overnight team relay in the beautiful Ozark Mountains, announces October 21-22, 2016 as the dates for their fourth annual Outback in the Ozarks. “Outback in the Ozarks is an adventurous overnight running relay that combines extreme mental and physical tests of endurance with camaraderie and fun. You will quite possibly feel every human emotion and finish the course with the confidence that you can conquer anything,” said Kimberlee Guin, race director, Outback in the Ozarks. Teams running the 200-mile relay will save $200––compared to late registration––if they register by March 31, 2016. Registration is underway; teams should register on the Outback in the Ozarks website. The 200-mile team relay is limited to the first 75 teams.
The race starts in historic Eureka Springs, Arkansas and winds its way through the gorgeous Ozark Mountains and valleys of northwest Arkansas, including five scenic state parks. Participants will run by rivers, creeks, bridges, wildlife, historic buildings and they will run deep into the remoteness, ruggedness and beauty of the Ozark Mountains. The race finishes with a finish line festival, music, food, tech shirts and finisher medals at Prairie Grove State Park near Fayetteville, Arkansas. “It’s a 200-mile slumber party moving through the Ozark Mountains,” said Guin.
