Online Social Club Network Continues To Expand Across America

Since the launch of Social Club Hub, an online network of social clubs across the United States, 600 clubs have registered

These clubs have created profile pages on the website and are ready to start accepting new members who are interested in various special interests, sports, crafts and other types of activities.

"The uptake from social clubs across America over the past few months has been significant," says Gary Sonnett, Social Club Hub President.

The goal of Social Club Hub is to create a single hub where people can browse social clubs, join groups and stay up to date with meetings, events and group activities online. There are social clubs for every type of recreational activity, sport and special interest.

"The increasing number of social clubs that are signing up shows that there is a need for a central online space where people from various communities can sign up and find out more about the activities and clubs they are interested in," comments Sonnett.

Social Club Hub has continued to expand, with groups and clubs from various cities and states joining the online network. The areas that now have clubs loaded on Social Club Hub include South Florida (including Miami, Ft. Lauderdale and the Palm Beaches); Central Florida, the West Coast of Florida, Phoenix, Chicago, Los Angles, Seattle, San Francisco, Boston, Indianapolis, Denver and Atlanta.

"Some of the newest clubs that have been added to Social Club Hub include San Diego, Salt Lake City, and Gulfport," adds Sonnett.

Florida is the state with the highest number of club registrations (109), followed by California (78), Arizona (59) and Washington (47).

The club activities include acting, boating, business groups, civic groups, cycling, rollerblading, snowboarding, running, hobbies and wine tasting, among others.

Ongoing research and constant activity updates

The team at Social Club Hub continues to do research to find out what type of clubs their community members are interested in.

"The idea is to provide a one-stop spot for all types of activities and special interest groups, so we're going to continue to expand and grow our network of clubs.

Ultimately, we want each type of social club in each city and state to be visible and active on Social Club Hub," says Sonnett.

Sonnett explains that many clubs have been able to benefit from the infrastructure that Social Club Hub has created. Clubs are able to create pages and manage an online message board that keeps group members updated.

"This is essentially an easy way for club managers to communicate with club members. Similarly, club members have a single point where they can get information about their club directly from their group managers and organizers," concludes Sonnett.

People who are interested in joining a hobby or special interest group can sign up at Social Club Hub. Registration is free and there aren't any skill level requirements or limitations on who can join.
