Online, February 10, 2010 (Newswire.com) - The new Maestro SMS Printer can be used to enable your restaurant to quickly and easily accept online web based orders from your customers.
The Process:
1. Customer places their order online.
2. Server forwards order to the SMS Printer located in restaurant kitchen.
3. Restaurant acknowledges/prints order and specifies optional delivery time.
4. Customer receives email acknowledgement of order and expected delivery time.
Web Based Online Ordering
A complimentary 12 month subscription to the Takeaways Direct web based ordering system is provided with your printer purchase.
With Takeaways Direct you can avoid the time and cost of setting up your own website for online ordering. Simply purchase a printer, register, then upload your menu and let your customers know that they can now order online at takeaways-direct.co.uk [view demo menu]
Your restaurant will also show up when customers enter a postcode in an area you cover or search by town / city for restaurants in their area. You will receive a login and password to update your restaurants details, opening/closing times and menu whenever you like [view demo login]
If however you already have a website, or would prefer to setup your own this is also possible. The printer is supplied unlocked, and can be reconfigured at any time. Sample PHP classes are available to facilitate simple two way integration with the printer.
Cost
Printers are available at a cost of £180 per unit when ordered individually. Volume discounts are available, please contact us details stating the quantity required.
Flexibility
The printer provides a large amount of flexibility to those with specific requirements. At the simplest level it is possible to just send one way messages to the printer. At the most complicated it is possible to set expiry times for messages, require restaurants acknowledge receipt of messages before they are printed, receive feedback from the restaurant relating to the message, e.g. a delivery time for an order (via HTTP post-backs), and remove messages from the print queue that have not yet been printed.
